Ryan handles private wealth matters, including trust, estate, and fiduciary litigation.
Ryan chose law to make a difference for people who need it most, inspired by a family member’s commitment to public service and helping others. Drawn to the intersection of legal strategy and personal impact, he was especially interested in trust and estate litigation for its mix of complex legal issues and ancient legal doctrines with the human element of family dynamics.
In law school, Ryan gravitated toward courses like Estate Planning and Taxation, Secured Transactions, and Criminal Law, building a foundation in both the theory and practice of law. A summer clerkship at a small estate planning firm provided hands-on experience drafting probate and estate planning documents and highlighted the value of careful attention to detail and strong client relationships.
Ryan also worked as a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, where exposure to a range of commercial and litigation matters deepened his understanding of how legal solutions can address client needs in high-stakes situations. The experience reinforced the importance of collaboration and adaptability, as well as the practical skills needed to guide clients through complex disputes.
Clients appreciate Ryan’s ability to listen, communicate clearly, and provide practical solutions. Known for a thoughtful, analytical approach and a focus on building trust, Ryan helps clients navigate complicated and often stressful situations with clarity and confidence.
