Overview

Ryan represents corporations, privately held companies, insurers, lenders and individuals in federal and state courts throughout the Southeast.

He has experience in litigation relating to lender liability, premises liability, insurance coverage, employment, trade secrets, franchises, construction and general commercial litigation.

Ryan has:

  • Obtained dismissal for a regional lender in a claim for breach of fiduciary duty and conversion of deposited funds.
  • Defended a large insurer against a claim for negligence and misrepresentation arising from alleged statements by an insurance agent, resulting in denial of life insurance coverage to the insured.
  • Obtained judgment for a regional lender for more than $4 million with a dismissal of all counterclaims against the lender.
