McKenzie guides clients through private wealth matters, helping families plan for the future with tailored estate solutions.
McKenzie was drawn to a legal career because it provided her the opportunity to continuously learn, solve complex problems, and have a chance to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Early in law school, she discovered that private wealth planning provided the ideal intersection of these interests. Her Trusts & Estates and Tax Law courses immediately captured her attention, igniting a passion for helping individuals and families navigate one of life’s most personal areas. Her desire to support others through life’s challenges made her an ideal fit for private wealth.
McKenzie quickly sensed that estate planning is more than finances: it’s about providing security and peace of mind during pivotal moments. She loves the people-focused nature of wealth management and its need for customized solutions for each family.
McKenzie’s legal experience includes an externship at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Phoenix, where she gained exposure to public service while spending her time drafting legal documents, reviewing evidence, and observing court proceedings. In law school, McKenzie served as a law tutor, helping others understand complex legal concepts. McKenzie also was a summer associate at Husch Blackwell’s Private Wealth Center for two summers and a law clerk during the school year. There, she gained hands-on experience drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents, as well as participating in client meetings from initial planning to document signing.
Known for attention to detail, McKenzie is approachable and responsive. She pairs technical excellence with compassion and clear communication to help clients feel informed, supported, and confident in their estate plans.
