Luis enjoys the legal research necessary in insolvency cases and values the opportunity to craft novel and practical solutions for clients. As a former accountant and auditor, Luis thrived on investigative work but was keenly aware that his role never included resolving any of the problems he uncovered. He chose to pursue a career as an attorney, where he could combine his passions for fact-finding, problem-solving, and creativity, and his accounting and auditing background continues to inform how he approaches the financial distress underlying every insolvency matter. He also served as a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, where he sharpened the research and advocacy skills he now applies to his bankruptcy practice.
