Josh assists clients with estate planning and related needs.
Josh decided to pursue a legal career after a personal experience with copyright law: as a songwriter and composer, he had to fight for his rights when a record label claimed ownership of a song he had written. This sparked his interest in law and showed him how he could use it to help others.
Prior to law school, Josh worked as a head copywriter and brand consultant, honing his skills in clear and persuasive communication. These experiences, combined with his creative background in music, have given him a unique perspective on law. He approaches legal matters like writing a song: taking in information, applying rules, and producing a well-communicated solution.
As a law student, Josh discovered a passion for the private wealth practice area. During his time as a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, he worked closely with the private wealth team, drafting estate planning documents and researching tax law issues.
Now a fully qualified attorney, Josh continues to focus on estate planning. He enjoys working one-on-one and building rapport with clients, and he values the opportunity to help families in meaningful ways. He also appreciates the chance to assist small family businesses. Josh sees these companies as crucial to the economy and community, and he loves helping them thrive and plan for the future.
Known for his patience, understanding, and creative problem-solving skills, Josh is a thoughtful listener who provides balance and clarity in times of need.
