Jennifer is a seasoned conflicts and compliance attorney who helps the firm’s professionals provide ethical legal services.
Jennifer works closely with attorneys across the firm to review and identify issues surrounding conflicts of interest, ethics, and compliance. She analyzes new business requests, advises and consults with attorneys on unique conflict issues, and drafts engagement letters and waivers.
Jennifer’s role ranges from preparing routine conflict waivers to providing practical solutions when unique circumstances arise. She values being a go-to resource, allowing clients to have confidence that, as their legal matter moves forward, risk management and ethics are top of mind.
In addition to her role as conflicts counsel, Jennifer has served as an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law, where she taught Professional Responsibility to advanced law students and assisted them in preparation for the MPRE; she enjoys teaching CLEs and educating attorneys as well as law students.
Jennifer began her legal career defending parents and children in child welfare proceedings as a family law attorney, and as a juvenile offender drug court defense attorney.
