Ian’s decision to pursue a legal career stemmed from a passion for learning and a background in political science. As a law student, he was particularly drawn to antitrust and administrative law, which highlighted the importance of procedure and the multifaceted considerations in mergers.
The dynamic and fast-paced environment of mergers and acquisitions, along with the complexity of corporate matters, particularly attracted Ian to the practice area. The opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals and navigate various regulatory issues further solidified his interest. As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, he also had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience creating and registering business entities in Wisconsin, drafting employment agreements, and researching consumer finance regulations.
Ian is known as a strong and clear communicator, with a keen attention to detail and an ability to think critically. With a focus on the bigger picture, he aims to build strong relationships and deliver effective solutions.
