Haley focuses on real estate transactions, real estate financing, and related tax credits.
Inspired to pursue a legal career by a high school social justice course, Haley was quickly drawn to transactional work. As a law student, she gained practical experience in her school’s Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, helping clients organize their small businesses and nonprofits and solving various legal problems. She immediately saw the connections between individual and community opportunities and transactional legal work.
Haley later chose to focus specifically on real estate, where she could work with clients to achieve their goals, anticipate potential legal issues, and problem-solve when those issues arose. She creates effective strategies for the purchase or sale of real property, development and construction deals, and financing transactions. Haley also assists clients in obtaining tax credits and other development incentives.
As a law student, Haley also externed with a shipping company, an experience that provided her with a deep understanding of the day-to-day life of corporations and their legal needs. Her work in the logistics world also helped her gain skills that readily transfer to her real estate practice: assessing and mitigating risks; ensuring compliance with international, federal, and state regulations; navigating regulatory frameworks; and performing due diligence.
Haley is known for her strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to learning as much as possible about clients’ needs and their industries.
