Grant Prengler

From his teen years on, Grant was drawn to the fields of real estate, business, and government. His passion for these disciplines led him to law school, where he saw the opportunity to blend his interests and prepare for a legal career filled with critical thinking and variation. He was particularly drawn to the idea that each client and matter is unique, and that every day would bring new challenges and opportunities.

Prior to law school, Grant gained practical experience as an intern with a full-service real estate firm. He learned about property development, how to work with companies and brands to execute a shared vision, and—above all—the value of client relationships. A second internship with an Israel-based real estate investment firm gave him the opportunity to work with the acquisitions team as an analyst looking into acquisition strategy for retail properties in major U.S. markets. He gained a valuable understanding of what makes a worthwhile investment and saw acquisitions mature from ideas to closing documents.

These early exposures to the industry confirmed Grant’s interest in real estate law, which was further solidified by his law school coursework. As a law student, he also served as an extern for a large healthcare system, gaining valuable insight into the role of in-house counsel and how outside counsel can work most effectively with clients’ legal departments.

Over two summers at Husch Blackwell, Grant gained exposure to a variety of transactional projects, including real estate development deals and mergers and acquisitions. He also had the opportunity to delve into real estate in the renewable energy world. Now a fully qualified attorney, he focuses on corporate and retail real estate, as well as real estate investment.

Grant is known for his level-headedness, attention to detail, and respect for others. He is committed to growth and learning, and he always ensures that clients are fully satisfied.
