Gabby advises clients on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters, helping them stay ahead of a rapidly evolving industry.
Gabby has long been drawn to helping people navigate complex systems. Before law school, she worked in higher education, guiding students and families through the admissions process. She later worked as a technical project manager, partnering with business and engineering teams to develop electronic health records and communicate progress to non-technical stakeholders. Those experiences sharpened her ability to make the complex simple and accessible—a skill that pointed her toward law.
During law school, Gabby continued to hone the skills she uses to support clients. For example, courses like business organizations and mediation taught her to listen closely to client concerns and identify creative approaches to resolving disputes. And her volunteer work at a tax clinic provided hands-on experience assisting individuals with tax forms and reinforced that prompt follow-up can be as important as the answer itself. Through moot court, she also learned to build persuasive arguments and discuss legal issues effectively with teammates and judges.
As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, Gabby helped develop a presentation for a client to use with potential partners considering opportunities under a federal healthcare program. She translated the program’s complexities into clear, audience-focused content. That project drew her to healthcare regulatory work, showing her the breadth of the firm’s national healthcare practice and the opportunity to collaborate with attorneys helping clients address industry pressures.
Known for connecting with clients and pursuing answers to their questions, Gabby keeps clients informed and supported throughout each matter. She prioritizes clear communication, timely follow-up, thoroughness, and responsiveness.
