Overview

Erica is a connector who loves bringing people together.

As the firm’s Managing Director of Growth, Erica leads Husch Blackwell’s legal recruiting team and collaborates with leadership to drive growth across the country. She oversees attorney recruiting at every level, from summer associates to lateral partners, ensuring the firm brings in strong talent to support its expanding national platform.

Erica began her career as an attorney herself, practicing for seven years in the big law world. She always loved participating in law firm recruiting and eventually made the move to legal recruiting full time. She has since worked at a boutique legal search firm, led her own legal recruiting business, and served as director of recruiting at other major law firms. Drawn to the firm’s innovative programs and forward-thinking culture, she joined Husch Blackwell in 2025.

At her core, Erica simply loves connecting people, building teams, and helping individuals and law firms find the right fit. She’s sat in every seat possible in the legal recruiting life cycle, having been a summer associate, a lateral hire, an outside recruiter, and a firm recruiter. Thanks to her well-rounded perspective, Erica understands what law firms need and what it takes to succeed in a large firm environment. Most importantly, however, she focuses on more than just legal skills—Erica looks for attorneys who share the firm’s commitment to client-centered service.

Outside the Office

Erica’s free time centers on her family: she and her husband have two sons and a family dog. Her kids seem to be involved in countless activities and programs, but when they don’t have somewhere they have to be on a weekend, the family enjoy going for hikes or heading into the mountains.

Community Leadership

Erica has volunteered with Law School Yes We Can, a Denver nonprofit committed to helping diverse and first-generation law students achieve admission to law school, for years. She served on the board from 2019 through 2024.
