Cortland assists clients nationwide with the development and financing of renewable energy projects. He practices in the Charlotte metro area of North Carolina as a member of our virtual office, The Link.

Cortland advises clients in the renewable energy industry, with a practice focused on supporting the development and financing of renewable energy projects.

His practice includes advising developers, lenders, and tax equity investors on site control, title and survey issues, and the negotiation of project agreements and title curatives for utility-scale and small-scale projects.

Through a practical and detail-oriented approach, Cortland works closely with various stakeholders to help move projects efficiently from early-stage development through financing and implementation.

Outside the Office

Cortland is a dedicated fan of Manchester United and the Red Bull Formula 1 team. He’s also a proud coffee snob who enjoys artisan coffee.

Most of all, Cortland enjoys spending time with his wife, Caroline, and two daughters, Charlotte and Virginia.
