Colleen helps attorneys and clients thoroughly navigate legal transitions.

Drawing on her attention to detail and knowledge of legal entity structures, Colleen takes pride in helping attorneys and clients find the best route to efficiently complete the task at hand, with cost-savings in mind. She has extensive experience reporting directly to in-house general counsel for two international, publicly traded corporations, where she gleaned valuable insight into many aspects of corporate governance, including a deeper understanding of how internal departments interact and how decisions on legal status are made. She was also responsible for attendance at board and various committee meetings, and the drafting of their meeting minutes. This firsthand knowledge now serves as an important resource Colleen provides to corporate attorneys.

Colleen assists attorneys with domestic and international entity creation, corporate governance, compliance, due diligence and contract administration. In this role she prepares various domestic and foreign corporate filings such as incorporations, mergers, conversions and dissolutions. She plays an essential role in communicating with clients and in managing and coordinating all aspects of complex corporate transactions across a variety of industries including, but not limited to, energy and natural resources, real estate, and cannabis and industrial hemp.
