Chase helps clients with private wealth and estate planning, supporting informed decisions to protect their assets and plan for their families’ futures.
Chase chose law school as the natural next step in becoming a well-rounded problem solver, wanting to round out the quantitative and business backgrounds he built through his undergraduate and graduate studies. Before law school, he spent two years tutoring student athletes in calculus and microeconomics, sharpening his ability to make complex material understandable for others.
Estate planning drew Chase in through his work in the Indian Legal Clinic, where he worked directly with clients to discuss their planning goals and translate them into documents tailored to each family circumstance, confirming his interest in a people-focused area of law. Placing first in the ACTEC student writing competition let him dig into the rules governing asset valuation for estate tax purposes, and externships with the Arizona Attorney General and the Arizona Department of Gaming gave him a broader regulatory perspective he has since applied back to estate planning.
As a summer associate and law clerk at Husch Blackwell, Chase worked across the estate planning cycle for clients in a range of family and financial situations, reviewing existing documents, researching novel estate planning and tax issues, and drafting trusts and core estate planning documents.
Clients can expect Chase to bring genuine care to every matter and to come away with security and peace of mind about the plans he helps build. He is known for making complex concepts simple and for a steady drive to keep learning, explaining options clearly so clients feel confident in their decisions.
