Overview

Ben assists with real estate needs in the energy industry.

Inspired by his attorney father, Ben chose to pursue a legal career. He was especially drawn to the idea of solving complex problems to help others—particularly when there’s a visible, real-world impact. Real estate and energy law were a natural fit: these are tangible matters that influence communities, and Ben can combine the work with a fascination for the intersection of technology and policy in the energy sector.

While in law school, Ben was deeply involved in law review, serving as an executive editor and working closely with peers and younger students. This experience helped him develop strong organizational and communication skills. He also tutored first-year students in contracts, further building a foundation for clear explanation and mentorship.

Ben’s legal experience includes working as a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, where projects ranged from resolving easement disputes to developing resources on regional energy regulations. Prior work at a small law firm provided experience drafting real estate agreements, preparing estate plans, and supporting business transactions.

Known for reliability and efficiency, Ben approaches each project with careful attention to detail and a commitment to meeting high standards. Clients value Ben’s ability to listen, communicate clearly, and deliver results that meet both immediate and long-term needs.

Thanks to his deep curiosity about history, geography, and the natural world, Ben loves collecting both antique maps and rare plants. Unsurprisingly, he’s a world traveler who’s had particularly unforgettable experiences in Iceland, Costa Rica, and Switzerland.

Ben also enjoys running, checking out new restaurants, and reading—especially books that fit with his interests in history and travel.
