Anna assists clients with corporate matters, providing solutions that fit their business strategy.
Deciding between a history PhD or law school, Anna determined that while she thrived on digging into texts, reading and analyzing source material for historical scholarship, her passion for taking that research outside the classroom and formulating real-world strategies made law a better fit.
As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, Anna especially enjoyed working with corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions. She was fascinated by business questions, and she was excited about the opportunity to combine business and legal strategies to help clients accomplish their goals—work she continues today now that she has joined the firm as an associate. Anna likes knowing that the legal answers she offers fit each client’s unique situation, and she endeavors to understand as much about a client and their business needs as possible.
While Anna works with clients in a variety of industries, she is particularly passionate about energy and environmental matters. Undergraduate and law courses led her to a deep interest in renewable energy forms and sustainability. Anna served as an officer in the Environmental Law Society at Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she focused on environmental moot court competitions. She was also involved in, and published an article with, the American Bar Association’s Renewable, Alternative and Distributed Energy Resources division.
Anna is known as a highly reliable professional who gets it right the first time. She aims to offer clients a creative perspective on business matters and corporate transactions, helping them achieve exactly the outcome they need.
