With a background in health administration and policy, Anna focuses her practice on regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry.
Anna’s interest in healthcare dates to her undergraduate days when she pursued a degree in health administration and policy and public health. Along with several healthcare-related internships at large corporations, the experience gave Anna an in-depth understanding of the business landscape of the healthcare industry. As an intern, she had the opportunity to assist with health plan drafting at a major airline, a reorganization of disability plans at a nationwide insurance provider, and risk management and ethics compliance matters at a regional healthcare network. The latter drew her attention to the legal side of healthcare, influencing her decision to focus her own law practice on the industry.
Today, Anna represents a diverse range of clients within the healthcare and pharmaceutical spheres, offering guidance on regulatory compliance and general corporate and governance matters. She is passionate about combining business and legal strategies to help clients advance their organizations.
Pro bono work is also important to Anna: she regularly assists pro bono clients with a variety of corporate and transactional needs, often through Husch Blackwell’s Communities for Change initiative. She is particularly passionate about working with women-owned businesses as they grow and move forward.
Anna is known as a highly reliable professional who gets it right the first time. She aims to offer clients a creative perspective in straightforward language, helping them achieve exactly the outcome they need.
