Cindy is a senior paralegal who has extensive experience working with major clients, law firms, corporations, lending institutions, and federal, state and local governmental agencies.

Cindy works primarily with high net-worth clients on asset titling, entity administration, business valuations, revocable and irrevocable trusts, life insurance planning and tax reporting.

Cindy plays an essential role in communicating with clients. She manages and coordinates all aspects of complex transactions, paying close attention to detail and consistent follow-up.  Cindy believes that her top priority is to work closely with attorneys and clients to build relationships that lead to lifelong representation.

Cindy’s work experience includes:

  • Composing formation or qualification filings for all entity types on a nationwide basis (primary states of Delaware, Missouri, Illinois, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Nevada, California and South Dakota); recapitalizing stock for corporate entities; and preparing operating agreements, partnership agreements, minutes, bylaws, ownership certificates, assignments of interests, equipment lease agreements, reorganization plans, buy-sell agreements, dissolution filings and other business  agreements.
  • Administering family charitable foundations, including preparing annual minutes, working with accountant to complete tax reporting, and paying estimated tax by electronic federal tax payment system (EFTPS). Working with state government to secure tax clearances and with the Internal Revenue Service to obtain tax identification numbers. Well versed in income tax filings, IC-DISC elections and Subchapter S elections (including Qualified Subchapter S Subsidiary elections).
  • Tax appeal and penalty abatement work with the Internal Revenue Service and state revenue offices.
  • Assisting with real estate matters, including research of records for nationwide county assessor and recorder of deeds offices and preparation of deeds of conveyance and real estate lease agreements. Works with lenders to secure consents to transfer real estate.
  • Using technology to research and identify issues relating to entity maintenance and asset titling.
  • Preparing PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheets illustrating business and estate planning matters, as well as related instructional correspondence for clients. Assists clients with entity formation, management and maintenance.
  • Monitoring and calendaring deadlines for corporate annual reports and related administration matters.
