Husch Blackwell successfully defended a hospital physician group against a medical malpractice suit filed by a plaintiff who alleged he was injured during weight loss surgery as a result of improper anesthesia practice and supervision. After a weeklong trial, the jury returned a complete defense verdict, finding no fault on the part of any of the defendants and awarding the plaintiff nothing.
