In light of heightened awareness, shifting guidance, multiplying state laws and changes in enforcement posture, institutions of higher education must continue to train their Title IX professionals to effectively investigate and resolve alleged incidents of sex and gender discrimination, sexual harassment and interpersonal violence.

Your institution has already laid the groundwork with policies, programs and general training on Title IX, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and the Clery Act. To expand on this work, Husch Blackwell and DePaul University invite your Title IX investigators and coordinators for full-day courses that go beyond the basics to include enhanced learning formats and nuanced information to build depth of understanding.

  • The Advanced Title IX Investigator Workshop digs into the practical skills needed to conduct effective sexual misconduct investigations.
  • The Advanced Coordinator Workshop focuses on the challenges and issues involved in investigation, resolution and remediation of sexual misconduct on (and off) campus.

The workshops are led by experienced attorneys from Husch Blackwell’s higher education group who focus on sexual misconduct investigations and compliance under Title IX, VAWA, the Clery Act, and evolving state laws and expectations. Courses include new videos and interactive sessions, traditional presentations and up-to-date information on responding to sexual misconduct in a way that ensures accuracy and compliance.
