This presentation will focus on how government agencies are auditing and investigating improper overpayments and potential False Claims Act liability resulting from the significant regulatory changes that occurred during the public health emergency, including:
- A significant amount of reimbursement is at risk due to the regulatory changes.
- The government's focus on key areas such as telehealth, laboratory testing for COVID-19, and emergency risks for providers in Medicare Part C.
- The significant changes to the 60-Day Rule.
