This CLE will discuss the fundamentals of class actions, including the relevant rules and case law. The CLE will also discuss recent developments in class action law, including disagreements across jurisdictions on key issues that are relevant to many or most class actions. The CLE will also discuss defense strategies. This includes strategies in litigation and proactive pre-litigation steps for lowering the risk of new suits being filed with a focus on UHS’s industry, as well as the class actions most common in that industry.
