Husch Blackwell Partner Maxwell Carr-Howard serves on a distinguished panel at the American Bar Association''s inaugural International White Collar Crime Conference in London. Carr-Howard joins a distinguished panel moderated by Kathleen Harris, a former prosecutor at the U.K.''s Serious Fraud Office and now a Partner at Arnold and Porter''s London office. Also on the panel: Andrew Hayward, the Head of Ethics and Compliance at Balfour Beatty in London, and Jamie Parkinson, a Partner at U.S.-based BuckleySandler. The group provides an in-depth review of international criminal compliance concerns from the perspective of in-house counsel as well as attorneys that have represented multinational corporations based in both the U.S. and U.K. Discussion topics include complex issues of effective cross-border internal investigations and compliance with anti-corruption, export controls, sanctions and other critical cross-border laws. Carr-Howard is a former federal prosecutor and focuses his practice in the areas of White Collar Criminal Defense and Government Compliance, Investigations & Litigation law.
