Definition of “Public Works”: “Public work” means any project for the new construction, repair or reconstruction of a project financed in whole or in part from public money for jails and prisons and all publicly owned works and property.
Categories of Construction Covered: All public works.
Source of Funds: All publicly funded projects, except that construction for the Nevada System of Higher Education must exceed $100,000 (and even if such work would not be defined as a “public work”).
