A member of the firm’s Healthcare industry group, Tessier focuses on the unique issues faced by pharmacies and specialty pharmacies, such as licensing and other compliance challenges. She also advises physicians, medical practices and other healthcare professionals on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, licensing, supervision requirements and scope of practice.
As part of her practice, Tessier also negotiates and manages healthcare transactions, including acquisitions and mergers of physician practices, hospitals and joint ventures. She also advises health care providers and healthcare technology companies on issues related to HIPAA, cybersecurity and breach responses.
