Husch Blackwell will hold the first installment of its 2017 webinar series focusing on the Texas renewable industry on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. The one-hour program will begin at noon and is titled “Renewable Energy in a Transforming Environment - Texas Legislative Preview.”
This first program of the 2017 series will feature Chris Reeder, Husch Blackwell partner, and Eric Padilla, senior manager, Vistra Energy. They will discuss legislation under consideration by the Texas House and Senate, including:
- Wind facility siting and operation legislation
- Cybersecurity and grid security legislation
- Bills specific to renewable energy
- Property & franchise tax reform
- State contracting reform & transparency
The program aims to provide the audience with real-world insight and is targeted toward renewable developers, solar service providers, utilities, public officials, investment banks, private equity companies, environmental entities, general counsel, and other development consultants and service providers.
