Miceli Named 'Most Influential' by Crain's Chicago Business

Husch Blackwell partner Julie Miceli has been recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business in its inaugural “Most Influential Woman Lawyers in Chicago.”  Miceli will be profiled as being among the 60 most influential women lawyers in Chicago in the publication’s July 31 issue, as well as online on ChicagoBusiness.com

Miceli is a member of Husch Blackwell’s Higher Education group and counsels private and public institutions of higher education in connection with campus safety, financial aid, and fundraising and development matters. She also provides legal counsel on issues and litigation related to faculty tenure, student conduct, disability accommodations and employment issues.

Miceli joined Husch Blackwell in 2016 after serving as associate general counsel at Northwestern University. Miceli has also served as deputy general counsel for higher education and federal student aid at the U.S. Department of Education and, prior to that, as that agency’s chief of staff and special counsel to the general counsel.
