Husch Blackwell Senior Counsel Melissa Kirby has been appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court to serve on the Hearing Committee for Disciplinary District III. Her three-year term expires in March 2029.
In matters involving allegations of attorney ethical misconduct, a committee member reviews recommendations made by the Disciplinary Counsel for the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility.
Kirby has 24 years of trial experience and represents clients in construction litigation, government contract, white collar, and general commercial litigation matters. Kirby previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Tennessee.
