Joshua Levy and Eric Meier, both Milwaukee-based partners in Husch Blackwell’s Real Estate, Development & Construction practice, have been named Fellows of the Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA).
The CLSA is an invitation-only construction lawyer honorary society with membership limited to 1,200 practicing Fellows from the United States and internationally. Fellows are selected and invited into Fellowship based on their ethical reputation and after being evaluated for effectiveness and accomplishment in construction law.
Levy focuses his practice on the complete array of construction services and litigation. He handles construction disputes in state and federal courts, arbitrations and OSHA hearings and has represented clients in more than 50 American Arbitration Association hearings, state and federal court and jury trials. He has also served as an Arbitrator on the AAA Construction Industry Panel of Neutrals.
Meier counsels clients on construction-related planning, contracting and risk mitigation. He also regularly handles construction-related litigation in state and federal courts, as well as through various arbitration tribunals. Meier is completing a term as the Chair of the Wisconsin State Bar Construction and Public Contract Law Section Board and is a frequent presenter on construction-related topics.
