Leading Insolvency Attorneys Join Husch Blackwell's Dallas Office

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Vickie Driver and Christina Stephenson have joined the firm’s Dallas office. Driver joins as partner and Stephenson as senior counsel; both are members of the firm’s Financial Services & Capital Markets group and its Insolvency & Commercial Bankruptcy practice.

Driver counsels debtors and creditors in a variety of restructuring settings, including those before the bankruptcy court, as well as out-of-court workouts and restructurings. She also represents institutional and strategic acquirers of distressed assets. A noted lecturer and author on business bankruptcy topics, Driver obtained her J.D. from Baylor Law School and her B.A. from Baylor University. She served as Past Chair of the Dallas Bar Association’s Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section and was named one of the Best Lawyers in Dallas by D Magazine in 2017.

Stephenson guides companies, individuals, and municipalities through a variety of restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 9 reorganizations, as well as Chapter 7 liquidation and bankruptcy-related appeals.  Her practice also spans transactional and corporate law matters, including company organization, lease and contract negotiation, commercial real estate transactions, and the purchase and sale of other business assets.  She obtained her J.D. cum laude from Southern Methodist University and both her M.A. and B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Driver and Stephenson join Husch Blackwell from the Dallas office of Lewis Brisbois.
