Kansas City Business Journal Names Watson to Power 100

The Kansas City Business Journal named Husch Blackwell Chairman Maurice Watson to its Power 100, a listing of Kansas City’s "most influential people in the business community." The list includes accomplished business executives and policymakers who enjoy wide recognition and who "make things go in [the] community." This marks the fourth consecutive year that Watson has been recognized in the Power 100.

Watson is a member of the firm’s Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education industry team and focuses his legal practice on representing educational institutions, including public and private schools and school systems, colleges and universities, and regional and national education associations. He also advises public, private and nonprofit boards of education in sensitive investigations and regularly works with boards on best governance practices. Watson has served as Chairman of Husch Blackwell since 2012.
