Husch Blackwell partner Jonathan Porter will speak at a session of the Orlando Regional Healthcare Compliance Conference titled “Criminal and Civil Enforcement and Telehealth.”
Porter will share the stage with Raul Ordonez, Associate Vice President for Compliance at Jackson Health System. Together, they will discuss current Department of Justice and Department of Health and Human Services efforts to address telemedicine fraud, Covid-related fraud schemes, and lab testing fraud schemes, such as genetic testing and urine drug testing.
Porter is a partner in Husch Blackwell’s Healthcare industry group and a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia, where he routinely pursued criminal and civil investigations, particularly those involving the healthcare industry.
