Chauncey M. Lane joins the 43rd Leadership Dallas class.

Husch Blackwell's Chauncey Lane has been named to the 43rd class of Leadership Dallas, the flagship leadership development program of the Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC).

Founded in 1975, Leadership Dallas prepares a diverse group of leaders to serve as agents for positive change impacting the quality of life in the greater Dallas area. Each year, DRC selects up to 55 leaders to participate in the program, which provides opportunities for professional development and service to the community over a 10-month period.

A veteran of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Corporation Finance, Chauncey is a partner in Husch Blackwell’s Energy & Natural Resources industry group with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital market transactions and securities regulation. He also advises investment advisers and fund sponsors on fund formation and ongoing SEC compliance.

Chauncey was recently named by the firm to head its newly launched Initial Coin Offering (ICO) team, an interdisciplinary, cross-office group of lawyers capable of addressing the myriad and evolving legal challenges associated with this innovative instrument and capital-raising option.
