The webinar series will focus on the latest topics affecting the Texas energy industry and customers.

Husch Blackwell and the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Alliance (TREIA) are pleased to announce the launch of their expanded new nine-part webinar series focused on the Texas renewable energy industry, “Meeting Texas Energy Needs: Renewable Energy Matures and Grows.” As with previous series, the webinars will focus on the latest topics affecting the Texas energy industry and customers.

The first installment of the 2019 series will take place on May 7 and will provide an overview of the current status and future prospects of the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and Production Tax Credit (PTC). Presenters will discuss commercial application and roles of the solar investment tax credit and wind production tax credit in financing and project development. In addition, they will cover the expected future of wind and solar development as credits are reduced or expired, the current legal status of wind and solar credits, and the legal eligibility for these credits.

The program will be hosted by Husch Blackwell partner Chris Reeder and presented by Husch Blackwell partner Jason Reschly and Ian Davis, Vice President of OnPeak Power.
