News Releases

Husch Blackwell's Houston office relocates to the JPMorgan Chase Tower at 600 Travis Street effective October 29, 2019.

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that its Houston office will relocate to the JPMorgan Chase Tower at 600 Travis Street, effective October 29, 2018. First opened as part of predecessor firm Brown McCarroll, the firm’s Houston office has witnessed rapid growth over the past few years, led in 2016 by a combination with Ellis Carstarphen Dougherty and again in 2018 by the arrival of six Houston-based lawyers from Gardere Wynne Sewell, including current office managing partner Kate David.

“This move signals our commitment to continued growth here in Houston,” David said. “The new location enables us to scale our operations in the future, puts us closer to many of our clients in the downtown area, and provides technology upgrades that touch on virtually all areas of practice.”

Husch Blackwell’s Houston office now houses 17 lawyers and staff working across each of the firm’s industry-focused business units, as well as specialized practices such as public law, election law, and levee and flood protection.

“We are excited about the move in Houston and what the future holds for us there,” said Husch Blackwell’s chief executive Paul Eberle. “As we continue to renovate and relocate offices across our footprint, our strategic focus has been on creating spaces that enhance the collaborative culture of our firm, as well as driving efficiencies, such as reducing paper use and implementing green office techniques and energy efficiency. We want clients who visit our offices to see and feel our commitment to these values.”

Husch Blackwell recently saw major relocations and renovations across the firm’s network of offices. In March 2017, the firm relocated its Denver office to Union Tower West, a new mixed-use development located just behind Denver’s Union Station. Earlier this year the firm completely renovated its Chicago location, as well. The firm plans to relocate its Dallas office at the end of the year, moving from the Trammell Crow Center to the newly constructed tower at 1900 Pearl Street.
