Husch Blackwell’s Kansas City Managing Partner Jeff Simon is one of four panelists who will discuss financial literacy at an event hosted by the KC Chamber from 6-8 p.m. April 27 at Union Station.
The panel will explore ways Kansas City businesses can retain employees by helping them manage their personal finances, including student debt. The other panelists are Sheila Bair, former chair of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) and current president of Washington College; Sly James, mayor of Kansas City, Missouri; and Brandon Michaels, president and CEO of Mazuma Credit Union. The panel is sponsored by blooom, a registered investment advisory firm based in Overland Park, Kansas, in conjunction with the KC Chamber.
