“Our commitment to LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion has once again been recognized in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index. We’re proud to have been awarded one of the Best Places To Work For LGBTQ+ Equality,” said Andre Khan, Husch Blackwell’s Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. “As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m proud to have joined a firm that is committed to LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality in our workspace. Along with our LGBTQ+ workforce and entire team, we celebrate this achievement.”

The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria that falls under four central pillars:

Husch Blackwell’s success in completing CEI’s ranking criteria has earned a 100 percent rating from HRC each year since 2016. The firm joins the ranks of 840 major U.S. businesses that also earned top marks for 2022.

“When the Human Rights Campaign Foundation created the Corporate Equality Index 20 years ago, we dreamed that LGBTQ+ workers—from the factory floor to corporate headquarters, in big cities and small towns—could have access to the policies and benefits needed to thrive and live life authentically,” said Jay Brown, Human Rights Campaign Senior Vice President of Programs, Research and Training. “Congratulations to Husch Blackwell for achieving the title of ‘best places to work for LGBTQ+ equality’ and working to advance inclusion in the workplace.”

The Human Rights Campaign is America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer people.
