Husch Blackwell’s Energy & Natural Resources industry group is proud to announce the launch of its "On The Horizon" 2017 webinar series. The series will explore various stages of renewable energy project transactions to aid participants in conducting internal evaluations and will highlight areas where planning (or lack thereof) tends to drive outside counsel costs.

The series launches Tuesday, March 28, at 1 p.m. CT, with the first installment titled "Transaction Overview," featuring Husch Blackwell’s John Crossley and Cacki Jewart in a discussion of the main stages of a development project, as well as an up-to-date forecast for the tax equity and power-purchase agreement markets for 2017 and beyond.

Crossley is a Kansas City-based partner in Husch Blackwell’s Energy & Natural Resources industry group. His practice is focused on the development, construction, financing and acquisition of energy projects across the country – both in the traditional and renewable sectors.

An Austin-based partner, Jewart is the leader of the Husch Blackwell Renewable Energy sector and focuses her practice on representing developers, investors and lenders in renewable energy projects. She has served as lead project counsel for developers on approximately 1500 MW of wind and solar developments in Texas, and she has led teams assisting clients with investments in over 1500 MW of installed capacity in wind and solar.

The program can be viewed on-demand from the Husch Blackwell website.
