Husch Blackwell Earns Perfect Score on Corporate Equality Index for Sixth Consecutive Year

Husch Blackwell has earned a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for the sixth year in a row.

The CEI is the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. The CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related workplace policies and practices such as non-discrimination protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.

The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria that falls under four central pillars:

• Non-discrimination policies across business entities;
• Equitable benefits for LGBTQ workers and their families;
• Supporting an inclusive culture; and
• Corporate social responsibility.

Husch Blackwell’s success in completing CEI’s ranking criteria has earned a 100 percent rating from HRC each year since 2016. The firm joins the ranks of 767 major U.S. businesses that also earned top marks for 2021.
