News Releases

National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Racy Haddad has joined as a partner in the firm’s Austin office and as a member of the Real Estate, Development & Construction industry team.

With more than 20 years of experience in real estate law, Haddad represents developers, builders, and buyers in commercial and residential transactions of all sizes. While the majority of her current practice focuses on sophisticated, large-scale commercial transactions, she continues to work with homebuilders as well and is board certified in Real Estate Law – Residential by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Haddad handles all aspects of purchase and sale transactions, from sourcing investors to negotiating and amending documents, as well as navigating title issues and resolving any challenges that arise before closing.

“Racy is an experienced dealmaker, and we’re pleased she has joined Husch Blackwell,” said Partner Jon Giokas, who leads Husch Blackwell’s Real Estate, Development & Construction industry team. “Her experience will greatly benefit our clients in the growing Austin area.

In addition, Haddad has a growing land use practice and regularly represents developers and homebuilders in zoning negotiations with municipalities throughout Texas.

“The firm has a deep bench of real estate development and litigation attorneys who complement my transactional practice—capabilities my clients will greatly appreciate,” Haddad said. “Husch Blackwell is a forward-thinking firm that has cutting-edge technologies and an uncommon approach to the business of law. It is the perfect place for me to continue my legal career.”
