For the second year in a row, Husch Blackwell received a perfect score of 100 percent from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation on its 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), earning the distinction of being among the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.” The CEI is a national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.

“We are proud of our second-consecutive perfect score on the Corporate Equality Index and feel that the accomplishment demonstrates our commitment to workplace diversity and inclusion. We continue to set high standards for ourselves, understanding that being a ‘Best Place to Work’ shouldn’t be a one-time accolade, but a mark to aim for each and every day,” said Husch Blackwell Chairman Maurice Watson.

The 2018 CEI rated 947 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community.
