Former PricewaterhouseCoopers Attorney Joins Husch Blackwell’s Banking & Finance Team

Charles S.C. Klehm joins Husch Blackwell’s Banking & Finance group in the St. Louis, Mo., office. He formerly worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, the world’s largest professional services/accountancy firm.

While at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ St. Louis office (2011-2012), Klehm was a Tax Associate focusing his work in the area of transfer pricing. He performed and documented debt capacity and valuation services and worked on investment banking, hedge fund capital growth, reinsurance and intercompany debt matters. In addition, he worked with clients’ tax and accounting departments as well as general counsels to interpret and apply government regulations in relation to intercompany transactions.

Klehm received his J.D., along with a Business Law Certificate, from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago (2011). During law school, he clerked for two law firms and was an extern for the Office of the Illinois Attorney General. Klehm received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2008).

Husch Blackwell's Banking & Finance practice focuses on the lending and regulatory activities of regional and national commercial lenders, retail banks, life insurance companies, CMBS conduit lenders, credit unions, savings associations and other financial institutions. Attorneys represent both commercial lenders and borrowers and understand the requirements and approaches of both secured and credit debt financing. The practice also focuses on the regulatory compliance of financial institutions.
