Husch Blackwell has been awarded the 2018 Colorado Hispanic Bar Association (CHBA) Outstanding Corporate Commitment Award.
Husch Blackwell received the honor for its significant support of initiatives and events that highlighted and celebrated diversity in the Denver legal community, including the CHBA annual gala, the CHBA Young Lawyers Division and the CHBA Membership Committee.
Husch Blackwell associate Sonia (Ramirez) Anderson, a CHBA Board member and vice-chair of the Young Lawyers Division, led the firm's efforts in its partnership with CHBA this year. “Husch Blackwell's Denver office is committed to strengthening its diversity and inclusion,” Anderson said. "The firm fully supports the time and effort I've spent as a member of CHBA's Board. The strong level of support and encouragement to be involved in diversity-focused organizations is what sets Husch Blackwell apart from other law firms."
The award will be presented at the CHBA annual gala on January 19, 2019.
