Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Alison Hollender has been named managing partner of the firm’s Dallas office.

A member of the firm’s healthcare practice, Hollender focuses her practice on licensure and certification of healthcare facilities, regulatory compliance and operations, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and corporate healthcare transactions. She represents individual healthcare professionals, hospitals and health systems, and ambulatory surgical centers. Alison regularly helps clients license and accredit new facilities, relocate, undergo mergers and changes of ownership, and navigate transactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Before pursuing a law career, she worked at Cook Children’s Healthcare System and earned a master’s in healthcare administration. Both experiences gave her an inside view of healthcare organizations that continue to influence her counsel.

Hollender’s work has earned consistent national recognition. She has been recognized by The Legal 500 United States as a Recommended lawyer in Healthcare: Service Providers. Chambers USA has recognized her for healthcare, with clients noting: “Alison provides keen legal advice with a written work product that is outstanding. She is thorough and aware of the various legal requirements applicable to the project at hand.”
Hollender earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor for the International Law Review Association. She holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a member of the American Bar Association, American Health Law Association, Dallas Bar Association, and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
