David Brenner Joins Husch Blackwell Sanders

Husch Blackwell Sanders is pleased to announce that David M. Brenner has joined the firm’s Denver office as Partner. He will concentrate his practice in the area of financial services.

Brenner has represented housing authorities and developers in the financing and development of affordable housing projects and other clients in the formation of various business entities. He has represented developers, lenders and investors in financing real estate projects including negotiating and drafting joint ventures, partnership and limited liability company agreements and has advised clients regarding the structuring of distressed entities. Brenner counsels clients on transactions involving New Markets Tax Credits, Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits, and Low Income Housing Tax Credits.

Prior to joining the firm, Brenner was an Associate at Ballard Spahr LLP (2007-2010) and Kutak Rock LLP (2000-2007). Following law school, he worked as a Tax Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (1998-2000). Brenner earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami (1999), where he was Associate Editor of the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. He earned his B.S.M. from Tulane University (1995).
