Prepare and prosecute patent applications covering a wide variety of 3D printing devices, the materials used in the 3D printing process, and products manufactured using additive manufacturing, such as the 3D printing of spinal surgery medical devices and the mixing of a stereolithography resin in 3D printers.
Conduct patent searches and render opinions relating to clients interested in using 3D printing to manufacture their products.
Evaluate patents directed to 3D printers, methods of printing and relevant software, and rendering freedom-to-operate opinions.
Educate and advise clients regarding the challenges associated with 3D printing depending upon their specific role in the additive manufacturing process, including issues relating to 3D modeling, scanning, digital blueprints, specialized equipment, regulatory matters, and high performance manufacturing.
Advise on global strategies and the impact of foreign 3D printing regulations on expanding global markets.
