Water Company Clears Unfair Labor Practices

Following expiration of a collective bargaining agreement, a union filed 26 unfair labor practice charges with the National Labor Relations Board against Missouri- American Water Co. The charges were filed over an 11-month period.


Our labor and employment lawyers, working with in-house counsel and labor relations professionals at the water company, defended all of the charges, winning 24 of them and settling two. The settlements required the posting of a notice, with no monetary outlay and no finding or admission of liability.
