Situation
Commercial real estate firm Sansone Group, as part of its acquisition and disposition strategy, sought to sell the Buzz Westfall Plaza on the Boulevard development in north St. Louis. Sansone had earlier developed the 50-acre, 370,000-square-foot center, which is anchored by grocery and retail stores.
Result
Husch Blackwell represented our long-standing client in the nearly $32 million sale to a private real estate investment firm. As part of the sale, Sansone will continue to manage the center and handle leasing for the buyer. Of note is that the deal was complicated by the development’s location in the middle of civil unrest in that part of St. Louis during the transaction.
