Our client sought to develop a new retail center next to an existing mall it acquired in southern Illinois. The client sought our help in advancing the project.
Result
In addition to handling retail leasing and other transactional aspects of the mall purchase, our team represented the client in securing tax incentives for development of the retail center. We also secured public financing, including the negotiation of a redevelopment agreement and the issuance of public debt, to help fund the development project.
