Medical Intellectual Property Advancement Good for Child Health

Client Success

A children’s hospital developed groundbreaking technology that dramatically reduced the diagnosis time for genetic diseases. Previously, the process took four to six weeks.

We addressed a multitude of intellectual property issues, including licensing, patent and other related matters for the new technology. This rapid whole genome sequencing approach was named one of Time magazine’s “Top 10 Medical Breakthroughs of 2012.”
