Highland Development Ventures LLC sought to acquire and repurpose existing buildings, including a defunct movie theater and former brewery distribution building, as high-end self storage facilities.
Result
The developer engaged Husch Blackwell for the $17.74 million deal. Our team assisted with environmental challenges that arose, as well as structuring the financing and partnership with Highland’s equity partner. The nine redeveloped locations bring half a million square feet of high-quality storage space to the communities they serve.
